March Break is designed to be a fun-filled week of cooking. Children ages 4-6 and 7-12 will prepare, hands-on, our favourite and traditional Italian meals for lunch, ex. gnocchi, tagliatelle, arancini, pizza and more. In class instruction, they will be learning the Italian translation of meals, ingredients, cooking terminology, nutrition and kitchen safety.
Children from 4 to 6 age group will be doing simple desserts like muffins, pancakes, and puddings. In class instruction for children that are not yet able to read or write will be an extraction of vocabulary from a song or a story and be introduced to simple phonics. All Children are encouraged to take part in all activities which will include fun games and music.
